# apis.finance > Agents can't lend. They can call it. One key to the finance layer of the agent stack: a Mandate registry, x402 settlement, and per-call finance data at posted prices. No record, no charge. STATUS, 2026-08-01: nothing on this property is callable over HTTP today. No /v1 route answers. x402 metering is ROADMAP at https://apis.finance/.well-known/x402 and the MCP server is ROADMAP at https://apis.finance/mcp, and a row cannot be LIVE while the rail it meters on is not. Of the seven rows on the rate card, one is LIVE at a named desk pilot operated by a person, and six are ROADMAP with DRAFT prices. The rate card is the machine-readable source and it carries the same stamps. apis.finance is the hub of a family of finance APIs sharing one key. The grammar is fixed: api.X is one API for one profession; apis.X is a family of APIs sharing one key. ## What an agent can do here - Read the rate card, machine-readable, with every row's status and every price's draft standing on it. That is the surface that works today. - x402 metering is the published design and is not yet running: when it is live, the shape is call, get a 402 with a posted price, pay, get the record, with no registration and no provisioning. Until https://apis.finance/.well-known/x402 stops saying ROADMAP, no call on this property returns a 402. - Hold a Mandate: a revolving credit line held in a registry as one object, which is to say a standing, revocable pool of commitment authority. What the agent can draw is never stored; it is derived on read: available = ceiling - encumbered - settled. Every money event carries a settlement_ref. Capitalized terms on the page and on this surface are registry object types. - Read the posted finance-data rows and their prices, none of them callable yet: business credit / KYB ($3.00 per file pull · DRAFT, ROADMAP), UCC lien search ($4.00 per search · DRAFT, ROADMAP), payoff quotes ($1.50 per quote · DRAFT, ROADMAP, quoted at the desk for floored Collateral under a Mandate, not callable, and consumer payoff is not live), amortization math ($0.01 per calculation · DRAFT, ROADMAP), license-permission lookup ($0.10 per lookup · DRAFT, ROADMAP), floorplan collateral telemetry ($45 per floored VIN per audit period, LIVE · desk pilot, which is one desk operated by a person rather than a callable route), KYA agent scores (ROADMAP · spec posted). ## The line The law reserves a short list of acts: extending credit, taking the Application, negotiating terms, deciding. A call that reaches a reserved act returns a typed BLOCKED naming the licensed party to route to: which statute, which party may lawfully act, which route clears it. needs_human routes to a marketplace of licensed parties, never a void. No Decision exists on a BLOCKED response and nothing is metered. ## The meter - No record, no charge. Data products: the served record releases the meter, and a not-found result does not. Every SKU live on this property is a data product. - No decision, no charge. Decisioned products. A Declination IS a Decision; the adverse-action notice ships inside the artifact. No platform fee varies with the direction of a Decision, and no Origination Fee attaches to a Declination. - Secured: no perfection, no charge. The recorded UCC-1 releases the meter. - Unsecured: no funding, no charge. The meter releases when money moves, with a settlement_ref. - Posted, flat, fixed at post. Fee lines named per entity: Telemetry Fee, Product Fee, Origination Fee. Never a percentage of the credit. ## What is typed and not yet callable Sixteen further capabilities are named in the rate card's roadmap block, each with its own gate, each stamped ROADMAP and each priced "Price posts with the SKU". The page renders them as a register of three columns, SKU, what your agent gets, and the gate, with the constant price and the constant stamp stated once above all sixteen rows; the card carries price, status and callable on every row. In order: consumer credit signals, cash-flow attributes, the lien stack, verification attributes, KYC and AML screening, bank account and routing validation, financial statement normalization, adverse-action notice assembly, compliance preflight, payout disbursement rail, transaction escrow, x402 agent payment clearing, ledger core, lending core, agent billing core, eNote and eVault control. None is callable. The rate card is the machine-readable source: GET https://apis.finance/rate-card.json ## The posture apis.finance is not a lender, does not extend credit, does not take Applications for its own account, and does not decide. The Lender decides. The platform never holds paper, never holds funds in the credit sense, never lets a fee depend on a Decision, never lets a statutory clock expire in silence, never blurs the parties (Lender, Borrower, Obligor-Guarantor named on every artifact), never implies liveness, and never enters renounced territory (no MCA with confession of judgment, no title or payday lending, no debt settlement or credit repair, no debt buying). ## The family - https://apis.finance : LIVE. The hub: the kernel, the catalog, the key, the docs, and the served rate card. Its MCP server and x402 door are typed and ROADMAP. - https://apis.credit : ROADMAP. The data door, typed and not yet callable. Same key, same catalog, same rate card. - https://apis.loans : ROADMAP. The origination door, standing until origination is live through licensed partners. - https://apis.mortgage : WAITLIST, entity-gated. A separate property under its own paper; it never redirects into this hub. - https://monthend.finance and https://controllers.finance : the close-suite doors. Names held, roles posted, nothing live behind them, and no price posted. They are typed on the rate card in adjacent_doors rather than in the roadmap register, because the register is bound row for row to the page's rendered table and a group of doors is not a SKU. ## Machine surfaces - [Rate card](https://apis.finance/rate-card.json): every SKU, price, status and gate. The page renders the same rows in the same order, and every SKU, price and status string it renders is a string from this file, byte for byte, DRAFT markings included. - [MCP server](https://apis.finance/mcp): typed, ROADMAP, not yet callable. - [x402 discovery](https://apis.finance/.well-known/x402): typed, ROADMAP, not yet metering. ## Contact - keys@apis.finance : email for a key. Keys are issued by hand, by email, and a person answers. Tell us what you're building, what you'd need from the finance layer, and your timeline. - desk@apis.finance : floorplan desk pilot
